ITINERARY

Day 1 Rottnest Island Discovery Bike Tour

Discover Rottnest Island with locals on a relaxed small-group discovery bike tour. Explore scenic coastal roads, turquoise bays, salt lakes and hidden island viewpoints while experiencing one of Western Australia’s most loved island destinations.

Bike hire and ferry transfers are selected separately during the booking process, allowing you to customise your island experience with your preferred transport and bike option.

After arriving on Rottnest Island, meet your guide at the bike hire location. Once your selected bikes have been collected, your guide will provide a short introduction before starting the island exploration together.

Rottnest Island, affectionately known as “Rotto”, is a car-free nature reserve famous for its relaxed atmosphere, white sandy beaches, crystal-clear water and unique wildlife. Along the way, you may meet the world-famous quokkas, found naturally only in Western Australia.

Your guide will lead you along selected island routes with time for photo stops, scenic lookouts and short breaks. Depending on weather conditions and the pace of the group, there may also be opportunities for swimming, snorkelling or relaxing by the beach.

After the bike tour, enjoy lunch and free time around Thomson Bay before continuing your own island experience or returning to the mainland.
